One
of the world’s foremost showplaces, Planting Fields Arboretum is a
409 acre estate devoted to rolling lawns, cultivated gardens and
natural woodlands. Nearly 1,000 years ago Matinecock Indians farmed
this fertile ridge of land just west of what is now Oyster Bay, Long
Island. Now, it serves as a quiet oasis for rest and contemplation
as well as the home of Long Island Feng Shui Institute. Our site is
an easy 40 minute commute from NYC, 60 minutes from Greenwich, CT or
Livingston, NJ, 2 ½ hours from Philadelphia, PA or 3½ hours drive
from Boston, MA. Well worth the trip. |
